Old Goa and Fontainhas

A short heritage day that still leaves the evening free. Mornings are kinder on the church steps, before the courtyards heat up.

1. 08:30

   Pickup

   Any north or Panaji hotel.

2. 09:15

   Basilica of Bom Jesus

   Shoes off inside. The facade photos are from the lawn.

3. 10:30

   Se Cathedral

   Across the road. We keep the stop unhurried.

4. 12:00

   Fontainhas

   Walk the Latin quarter. The cab cannot enter the narrow lanes, so it waits on the edge.

5. 13:30

   Panaji jetty

   Riverfront drop, or back to the hotel.
